About the RoleThis exciting opportunity enables you to provide senior medical support and guidance to a multidisciplinary team, working directly with young people and their families. Your responsibilities will include collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

With a team of over 4,700 staff across 150 departments, The Children's Hospital offers family-focused care, handling 39,000 inpatient admissions, 65,000 emergency department visits, and 771,000 outpatient services annually.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, private practice allowance, on-call allowances, $38,000 professional development allowance, and superannuation. Our estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $400,000 (base salary) plus additional benefits.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- F.R.A.N.Z.C.P. or equivalent gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa.
- Strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, within a community context.
- Experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team context.
- High-level communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and education.
- Commitment to your own professional development.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and clinical excellence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
