Document Controller

BESIX Watpac is a leading Australian construction company with over 40 years of experience in delivering complex projects across various sectors.
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing the document management system (Aconex) on a health project in the Illawara region. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills to ensure compliance with OH&S legislative requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive safety policies and practices in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Provide general project administration support to the team.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents and drawings received.
- Control all project documentation using industry-standard systems.
- Assist with QA coordination and document control.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the building and construction industry or a similar field.
- Competency in basic administrative and secretarial skills.
- Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, and MSOutlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation Package: A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible work arrangements, awards and recognition program, wellbeing program, and corporate discounts.
