Job Title: Document Controller
Job Summary:
BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our NSW team in the Illawarra region. As a key member of our health project team, you will be responsible for managing the document management system (Aconex) and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company safety policies and practices in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures.
- Provide general project administration support to the team as required.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents and drawings received.
- Control all project documentation using industry-standard systems.
- Assist with QA coordination and document control, ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
- Prepare monthly and other reports as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
- Competency in basic administrative and secretarial skills, including preparation of general correspondence, filing, and document control.
- Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
- High level of organisational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively and co-operatively within a team environment and demonstrate a positive approach and outlook in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate, influence, and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
