About this Opportunity

Pact Group's Contract Manufacturing Division manufactures across several operational sites and supplies a wide range of homecare and Personal-Care categories to all the major retailers and global FMCG brand owners.

This role will be based at Smithfield initially then move to our new site at Horsley Park.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Monitoring stock levels and proactively identify purchasing requirements.
  • Running relevant SAP reports to action rescheduling and cancellations of POs.
  • Negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Participating in cycle meetings to ascertain production, NPD, and customer requirements.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes within the purchasing function.
  • Adequately managing and reviewing excess/obsolete stock levels.
  • Ensuring suppliers adhere to performance levels.
  • Liaising with the accounts team to coordinate supplier payments schedule and agreements.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or related discipline are highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel – Intermediate) and SAP is essential.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Can-do attitude, a deep sense of ownership, and an unflinching desire to see a task through to completion.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written, able to adapt to audience).
  • Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
