Job Title: Enterprise Data Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of organisational data, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, while also maintaining company databases. Your key responsibilities will include designing and maintaining data structures within multiple database systems, assisting with the design, documentation and implementation of database usability processes and procedures, and developing dashboards by creating regular and ad-hoc reports from different data sources.

Additionally, you will identify, analyse, validate and document business benefits associated with data-driven initiatives, establish and maintain database security protocols, and perform maintenance of backup and recovery systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures and instructions relating to system usability
  • Proven experience maintaining databases including but not limited to designing naming conventions and data sets
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and providing support to diagnose and repair database and data related issues
  • Proven experience translating technical terms to non-technical stakeholders
