Job Overview

This role involves leading the delivery of a modern, scalable enterprise-wide data platform to meet analytical and operational needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current state of Microsoft Azure cloud-based data analytics platform, identify gaps and opportunities for uplift to inform roadmap to grow data capability in line with Data Strategy
  • Ongoing technical leadership ensuring platform optimised to meet business requirements, scaling team of data specialists including data engineers, administrators and architects to support development and operations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide data analytics platform infrastructure meeting changing needs and priorities
Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in data engineering, architecture and administration
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data analytics platforms and services
  • Able to provide technical leadership and direction to team members
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
