Skilled Team Lead

We are looking for a skilled and experienced team lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled professionals and driving safety, productivity, and quality.

  • Lead and inspire your team to achieve outstanding safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion our commitment to safety through proactive hazard reporting and safety interactions.
  • Oversee and coordinate planned work schedules, providing guidance when needed.
  • Identify and address quality or efficiency risks, while finding opportunities to deliver greater value for customers.
  • Support the quoting of job scope variations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Model our company values and leverage digital tools to drive progress towards business goals.
  • Ensure apprentices receive quality on-the-job training to meet competency milestones.
  • Promote sustainability and environmental responsibility in line with policies.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Certificate III or IV in Trade Certification, Post Trade Qualifications with a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
  • Demonstrate supportive and structured leadership in the workplace.
  • Skills to provide high-level technical advice and guidance to subordinates.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ensuring customer needs are addressed.
  • Competent to promote team effectiveness, communicate up and down the chain of command, and inspect others' work to ensure high-quality assurance.
  • Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
