Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage leadership skills and drive operational efficiency within our Road Express division in Mackay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize driver and equipment utilization.
  • Coordinating vehicle movements to meet customer demands and requests.
  • Ensuring vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing and managing loading/unloading documentation, including manifests and compliance paperwork.
  • Analyzing contractor performance data to inform business decisions.
  • Managing incidents involving drivers, including reporting and investigation.
  • Providing guidance and oversight to drivers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance of company assets.
  • Participating in operational and safety meetings.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and providing accurate information.
