Job Title: Manager, Landholders & Community

This role is responsible for leading the Transmission Landholder and Community Engagement Team, ensuring the delivery of internal and external communication and stakeholder engagement services. The successful candidate will have significant experience in leading customer and community engagement, a strong understanding of the Energy Sector, and the ability to develop and implement customer and community engagement plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Landholder engagement for ongoing capital works, including major projects, operations, and maintenance
  • Engagement for safety concerns, cultural heritage, protected species, and other stakeholder groups
  • Achieve best outcomes for AusNet while balancing landholder demands and preferences
  • Identify potential customer, community, or stakeholder risks and develop strategies to manage them
  • Support research and analysis of customer information, feedback, and data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with Engagement Leads across AusNet's lines of business to align community engagement practices
  • Represent the interests of Transmission landholders and liaise with key contacts from other teams
  • Lead high-performing people, culture, and safety, aligned to AusNet's leadership behaviors and values
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in leading customer and community engagement across multiple stakeholder and customer groups
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in developing customer service programs and improving customer experience in a large, complex service organization
  • Strong understanding of the Energy Sector and its challenges
  • Experience developing and implementing customer and community engagement plans
  • Solid interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to articulate and lead a team
Work Environment:

This role will have a hybrid split, with a base at Southbank, Melbourne, and is part of the Strategy & Regulation team within the Transmission line of business.
