About the Role

As a Strategic Director based in Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our strategic direction. Your responsibilities will include initiating and coordinating discussions regarding our mission, vision, and strategy, developing comprehensive models and strategy documents, and analysing data to draw conclusions about social, technological, economic, and political developments that impact our organisation.

You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives, guiding our organisation towards sustainable growth and innovation.

  • Develop and refine strategies that drive business growth, competitive advantage, and profit growth, ensuring we remain ahead of market trends and competitors.
  • Analyse and interpret data and documents to draw conclusions about social, technological, economic, and political developments and their consequences for our company.
  • Work closely with marketing, IT, and customer service departments, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to develop constructive relationships and ensure their input is considered in strategic decisions.

About You

  • A minimum of 15 years of work experience, preferably in top-tier management consulting and corporate in-house strategy.
  • Experience in Construction or Engineering preferred; alternatively, industrial goods experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in analysing complex data and drawing meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deep understanding of the construction industry and market trends.

Salary Estimate: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
