Job Summary:
A remarkable opportunity exists for an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a pioneering team dedicated to supporting individuals with complex psychotic disorders. Our innovative approach focuses on holistic care, aiming to empower consumers and their families to manage these challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level occupational therapy plans, assessing, planning, and intervening in the lives of adults struggling with complex psychotic disorders and associated cognitive and behavioral issues.
- Utilize expert professional judgment in clinical decision-making and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Lead, support, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service evaluations, and ongoing clinical learning.
Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and AHPRA registration.
- Extensive postgraduate experience in Occupational Therapy, showcasing competency in functional living skills, risk assessments, and interventions for adults with complex psychotic disorders.
- Exceptional negotiation, decision-making, communication, and advocacy skills across diverse stakeholders.
Working Arrangements:
The selected candidate will work at Tertiary Referral for Psychosis, located on the Prince of Wales Hospital Campus, Randwick.
