Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality care to young people aged 12-25 with complex mental health needs.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support the recovery and well-being of our clients. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each young person.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and community services to promote resilience and reduce hospital and service usage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized occupational therapy services to youth with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and students
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and community services to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
