About the Role

  • Deliver expert care across hospital and community settings within Western Sydney Local Health District.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance patient experiences and achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group psychological therapy tailored to adult consumers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with patients and families using recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, participate in quality projects, and adhere to professional development requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology including current full registration with the relevant authorities.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in working with individuals with eating disorders.
  • Evidence-based skills in assessment, formulation, and treatment delivery.
  • Effective interpersonal communication, advocacy, and negotiation abilities.
  • Able to work as a valued team member and autonomously manage workload.
