Occupational Therapist Level 4

A rewarding opportunity exists for a skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to excel in our innovative and dynamic team, focusing on assisting consumers and their families manage complex psychotic disorders.

This role involves working with adults who experience severe mental illness, particularly psychosis. The successful candidate will possess high-level competency in functional living skills, risk assessments, and interventions.

  • Requirements: In accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and AHPRA.
  • Extensive post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy with high-level competency in functional living skills, risk assessments, and interventions in adults with complex psychotic disorders and associated cognitive and behavioural problems.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, communication, and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
