About the Role

The Facilitator Director oversees recruitment, training and quality of the facilitator team.

This role works collaboratively with DE to ensure the Disability Inclusion reform achieves its aims and objectives, including ensuring the integrity of the profile process.

The Facilitator Director proactively identifies emerging opportunities, improvements and enhancements relevant to the delivery of a high-quality facilitator service.

This requires a balanced and nuanced understanding of the priorities and pressures on various teams operating to support the reform.

The Facilitator Director leads a positive, supportive and collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are a degree qualified teacher with experience in inclusion or specialist education.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience working in/with schools.
  • You possess strong project management abilities and are skilled in developing high-quality written materials collaboratively, from initial scoping through to final delivery.
  • You excel at building positive team cultures, supporting team members, and enhancing individual skills.
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and confidently engage with diverse stakeholders.
