Strategic Account Executive

As a Major Account Manager at Arista Networks, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the Melbourne area. This strategic position involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, a proven track record of technology sales, and the ability to cultivate relationships with existing customers while penetrating new logo accounts. With a strong background in data center or networking industry, including relevant experience in areas like SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure or Cloud computing, you will be well-equipped to deliver business value to both end users and key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
- Work with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
- Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers.
You will also have opportunities to conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns and technology forums, collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices, and keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions and competitor strategies.
