About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team as an Inbound Supply Chain Manager. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes to strengthen inbound supply chain planning, minimizing costs and maximizing customer and seller experience.
  • Vendor and Seller Experience: Own the seller and vendor experience in the supply chain organization, ensuring seamless interactions and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Process Scalability: Identify and implement available tools and automation to make existing processes scalable and efficient.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Roll out best practices from other geographies and companies to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations, and technical audiences.
  • Program Management: Program manage and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Launch programs, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables.
A Day in the Life

As an Inbound Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn. You will take the lead in designing the implementation of new initiatives and encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet important deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Program or Project Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on supply chain operations.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL, with 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement Experience: 3+ years of experience driving process improvements.
