About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Supply Chain Associate, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supply chain operations in our New Zealand and Australian market, ensuring efficient product distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound documentation for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to avoid stock shortages, optimizing inventory management processes.
- Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Manage external relationships with 3rd party stakeholders, such as warehouses & transport carriers, and provide ongoing support to internal teams.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers, 3PL warehouses, and Global Forwarding Agent, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction, driving business growth.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or logistics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain operations, including managing inbound logistics.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory requirements in Australia is a plus, as well as understanding of processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping.
- Flexibility in hours as you will be looking after the New Zealand market.
