Job Overview

This is a senior corporate lawyer position with a focus on providing expert advice on governance, legal structures, partnerships, and commercial agreements. The role involves managing litigation, employment disputes, FOI requests, and subpoenas, as well as overseeing risk, insurance portfolios, claims handling, and policy renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on governance, legal frameworks, and compliance matters to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Leading on risk management, including assessing and mitigating potential risks, developing strategies, and implementing policies.
  • Managing litigation, including advising on dispute resolution, negotiating settlements, and representing the company in court proceedings.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting procurement, and leading tender processes to secure new business opportunities.
  • Overseeing compliance, privacy, AML, modern slavery, audits, and legal training to ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Circa 4-6 years of experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and/or commercial litigation.
  • Expertise in governance, legal operations, and professional standards.
  • Experience across litigation, digital, commercial, and contract law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills to influence outcomes.
  • Attention to detail, tech-savviness, and commitment to excellence.
