About the Role

This is a key opportunity for a skilled corporate lawyer to join our team as a governance expert. As an in-house senior legal counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-level advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice on ASX Listing Rules, directors' duties, subsidiary governance, and other corporate matters.
  • Lead the legal workstream for Board and committee activities, including AGM preparation, trading windows, share plans, and registry management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across procurement, technology, marketing, and supply chain.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed governance and manage legal risk across the business.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and drive continuous improvement in corporate policies and frameworks.
  • Contribute to legal education and mentoring within the broader legal team.
Requirements
  • 7–11+ years' PQE in corporate law, corporate advisory, governance, and commercial law, gained in private practice and/or in-house.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Ability to distil complex legal issues into clear, commercially pragmatic advice for senior executives.
  • Collaborative approach with a knack for building trusted relationships across the business.
