Job Title: Philanthropic Operations Specialist

The Philanthropic Operations Specialist plays a vital role in the management of philanthropic income for scholarships, prizes, capital projects, and research. This is a permanent full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement.

About the Role

  • Acts as liaison between faculties on the administration and management of philanthropic income.
  • Manages requests from donors to ensure accurate gift entry and fund creation.
  • Reviews all new gift acknowledgements for accuracy and consistency.
  • Works closely with finance to support fundraising goals and stewardship objectives.
  • Provides advice to faculties on philanthropic policies and procedures.
  • Supports the team to achieve professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent level of knowledge gained through education, training, and/or experience.
  • Highly developed administrative, record keeping, and financial skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding and/or interest in fundraising.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines, operate within parameters, and consistently produce quality output.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills with high-level attention to detail.
