
Dynamic Senior Building Surveyor Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking building certification functions, providing technical advice and guidance, and managing construction certificates and Occupation Certificates.

- Undertake the function of a building certifier for the local government area.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess and manage construction certificates, complying development certificates, and Occupation Certificates, including the Principal Certification role for applicants.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Holds and maintains accreditation as a Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of building) or higher.
- Demonstrates expertise in applying relevant certification standards and legislation, including the National Construction Code, Local Government Act, Swimming Pools Act, and NSW Environmental Planning legislation.
- Can demonstrate proven commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, with strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Has advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to mentor and support team members.
