The Consulting Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and designing solutions that meet those requirements while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with sales teams to comprehend customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and advantages.
- Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including answering technical questions and resolving issues.
- Engage with engineering customers to gather technical requirements and assess their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or technical consulting
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or certifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a track record of successful project delivery
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets
