Human Resources Support Officer Job Summary:
Job DescriptionThe role of a Human Resources Support Officer is to provide comprehensive support to the HR team with key duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drive efficiency improvements in HR processing with attention to detail and data-centric focus.
- Coordinate and action all payroll and leave processing functions in liaison with the Manager People and Safety.
- Monitor fortnightly schedules of overtime, higher duties, and other workforce arrangements.
- Provide support to workplace health and safety and rehabilitation activities across the organization.
- Coordinate and monitor human resource's records systems and assist the Manager People and Safety in preparing reports and advice for other managers.
- Develop relationships with the Commission's Payroll and HR Support Service provider.
- Collaborate with the Manager People and Safety on operational and administrative tasks.
- Evaluate human resource services and initiatives to ensure they align with organizational business outcomes.
- Report non-compliance issues according to organizational requirements.
To succeed as a Human Resources Support Officer, candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Additionally, relevant qualifications such as a degree in Human Resources or a related field are desirable.
