Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including salary benefits and conditions based on the Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria 2018-2022, with membership to HACSU (Health and Community Services Union). This includes:

  • Salary packaging (up to $15,900 per year tax-free in addition to your standard tax-free threshold)
  • Purchased Leave Scheme (gives you the opportunity to purchase up to four weeks additional leave on top of your existing four-week Annual Leave entitlement)

Job Description

A Person-Centred Approach to Care

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our customers to create meaningful opportunities for them to belong and thrive. You will support individuals with daily tasks and goals through a person-centred approach, providing flexible care that meets their unique needs.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work across Warrnambool, Portland, and Hamilton, supporting individuals with high and complex behaviours of concern. Your shifts will be varied, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers, and active nights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with clients with high and complex behaviours of concern
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
