Job Overview:

Pacific National is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Asset Support Centre. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving and managing the success of our rollingstock fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes, procedures and reporting for the Asset Support Centre
  • Lead technical teams to provide high levels of triage for Pacific National
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure plans are complied with and delivered
  • Further develop existing processes to enhance operational service delivery outcomes
  • Ensure the highest levels of safety are applied in all advice delivered and actions taken
  • Manage technical teams providing first line of triage assistance
  • Ensure customer experiences achieve high levels of problem-solving through continuous improvement

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will be a flexible and agile leader with strong influential, negotiation and consultative skills. You will have the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and deal with challenging scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Wealth of experience in rail operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Experience delivering physical maintenance activities across a range of locomotives or wagons
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to drive change
  • Patience when dealing with difficult customer-service situations
  • Operational excellence and LEAN methodology exposure
