Job Title: Fleet Operations Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fleet professional to join our team. As a Fleet Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our vehicle fleet.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet management, from acquisition and utilisation through to maintenance, replacement planning and compliance. With a focus on safety, sustainability and operational continuity, this role offers the opportunity to lead improvements in fleet policy and practice.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with logistics, finance and external providers to deliver cost-effective and compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer fleet policy in support of operational continuity, sustainability and optimising total operating cost outcomes
  • Work with logistics, finance and regional directors to ensure alignment of fleet policy with organisational policies and standards
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a combination of qualifications and substantial experience in fleet management and operations
  • Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal and overall portfolio oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to apply industry best practices and comply with relevant legislation and organisational policies and standards
