We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. As an integral part of our HR operations, you will play a key role in building and maintaining an open and supportive culture for our employees and people leaders.
As an Employee Relations Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include acting as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. You will address and resolve employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in accordance with company policies and Australian labour laws. You will also conduct investigations into workplace issues and provide recommendations for resolution in a timely and balanced manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing and resolving employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in accordance with company policies and Australian labour laws.

- Develop, implement, and update HR guidelines aligned with company policies and procedures, reflecting legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of ER cases and prepare regular reports for management on ER/IR trends, risks, and outcomes.
- SUPPORT IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND COACH MANAGERS ON PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLANS.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced ER/IR professional with a passion for maintaining positive workplace relations. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field, and proven experience in an ER role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry. A strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, industrial relations, and Fair Work regulations is essential.
A competitive salary package, including base salary $85,000 per annum, superannuation, and other benefits, will be offered to the successful candidate.
