About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Account Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our large and mid-tier Accounting Partners. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing these partnerships by helping them develop and execute a digital strategy. Your primary objective will be to support their continued success in migrating clients onto the Xero platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and account management relationships with large and mid-tier accounting partners
- Drive customer acquisition and achieve monthly targets
- Develop project plans to support migration to Xero
- Deliver Xero partner events and drive attendance at Xero sales events and Partner Forums
- Educate partners on all available resources
- Monitor existing partners as they progress through the sales cycle
- Update CRM system with client communications and maintain accurate records
- Respond to partner inquiries in a timely manner
- Engage in regular call cycles with allocated partners
What You'll Bring:
- Proven field account management experience
- Sales performance and direct experience working within sales cycles
- Knowledge of accounting practices and emerging online market trends
- Results-driven approach with attention to detail and follow-up
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to build strong relationships
- Creativity and autonomy in driving business development initiatives
