Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our ESG Analytics division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and safeguarding business value and reputation.

    Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive ESG policies across the organization, identifying and interpreting emerging social and environmental issues, and providing strategic advice to senior management.

    To address key ESG concerns, particularly those related to climate change and human rights, you will develop or maintain scope 3 lending emissions metrics for key sectors, support ESG disclosures focused on climate change, conduct regular and ongoing environmental scans and analysis of emerging ESG issues.

    You will also provide support to ANZ relationship and credit teams to conduct social and environmental due diligence on business customers for sensitive transactions, issues or sectors.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive ESG policies
  • Identify and interpret emerging social and environmental issues
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management
  • Develop or maintain scope 3 lending emissions metrics
  • Support ESG disclosures
  • Conduct regular and ongoing environmental scans and analysis

Requirements:

    To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of ESG issues and relevant reporting frameworks.

    You should be able to demonstrate a deep and broad perspective to understand wide-ranging needs and interests of key stakeholders in supporting development of a multi-layered and Group-wide agenda.
