Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will work with individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries in the workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting vocational assessments to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement
  2. Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  3. Supporting recovery and return to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing clients' best interests
  4. Delivering targeted intervention strategies to enhance independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and full ASORC Accreditation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence in engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • An inclusive attitude towards working with diverse cultural groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to high-quality customer service
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment, with strong punctuality and time management skills
