Job Description

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant - Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Sydney on a full-time or part-time basis.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants, working with and supporting individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries in the workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking vocational assessments
  2. Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes beneficial for all parties
  3. Supporting recovery and return to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, always prioritizing your client's best interests
  4. Delivering targeted intervention strategies to enhance independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
  5. Understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and full ASORC Accreditation
  • Confidence in engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues, and employees
  • An inclusive attitude towards engaging with diverse cultural groups
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to high-quality customer service
  • Strong punctuality and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver's license are mandatory
