Clinical Lead Supporting Recovery

The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in guiding a multidisciplinary team providing accessible mental health support to young people.

This program delivers trauma-informed mental health care services to victim survivors of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence in Southwest Sydney, focusing on long-term recovery.

  • Lead and mentor an existing team of Mental Health Practitioners, fostering their growth and development.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance on managing complex clients within agreed service areas and aligned with expertise and qualifications.
  • Offer clinical supervision in both individual and group settings, promoting professional growth.
  • Contribute to ongoing service development, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, enhancing the organization's reputation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree qualification relevant to the position – i.e. psychology, counselling, social work or similar.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body – i.e. minimum Level 4 ACA, PACFA Clinical, APHRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation.
  • Extensive experience working with trauma-affected clients in an FDSV setting (mandatory).
  • Experience supervising multi-disciplinary teams in clinical settings, demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence and WWCC.
  • The right to work in Australia.
