About this role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated customer service professional to join our team at Yarra Trams.
As an Authorised Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service by being approachable and knowledgeable towards our traveling public.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service through face-to-face interactions.
- Reporting all offences detected and submitting relevant reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assisting in the security and preservation of Yarra Trams vehicles and property.
- Contributing to the maximization of fare compliance on Yarra Trams.
- Successfully completing legislative assessments relative to the role.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong customer service skills, ideally gained in a face-to-face environment.
- Strong comprehension of the English Language to assist with completing legal statements.
- Confidence and flexibility.
- Ability to think and respond productively.
- Ability to work in a close team environment and/or autonomously.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts and irregular hours, over a rotating 7-day week.
- Competence in various computer software and proven experience with various Microsoft applications.
- A high standard of personal presentation.
