Our organization is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at a care centre.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing lifestyle activities and programs that promote dignity, life and spirituality.

  • Encourage residents' choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Conduct assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and their families
  • Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and passion for providing high-quality care
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
