About the Role

Axiom Technologies is a leading provider of Managed IT solutions to medium to large-scale enterprises globally. We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate onsite/on-call assistance to end users within the organization's desktop computing environment.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot desktop support activities, from simple to complex plans.
  • Collaborate with technical groups to resolve issues remotely and ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Support and troubleshoot various applications, including Microsoft, Java, and Adobe, as well as cloud and web applications.
  • Manage office licenses and troubleshoot issues related to native laptop or cloud applications.
  • Document all work performed through a ticketing system, including details and resolutions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Level 2/3 desktop support.
  • Windows 10 or 11 Admin troubleshooting experience, including Intune, cloud, and thick build machines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting.
  • ITIL concept and ticketing tool understanding.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
