The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our IT service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist new users with their IT hardware collection and setup, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Ensure new equipment, such as laptops and mobile phones, are up-to-date and deployment-ready prior to release to customers.
- Record all customer contacts in our IT service management tool, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate progress updates to customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with service level agreements.
- Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Identify opportunities for service and process improvement, driving initiatives to enhance our IT service delivery.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer experience skills, with a focus on end-user services.
- Ability to prioritize work to ensure achievement of all service level agreements.
- Sound knowledge of laptops, desktop PCs, printers, media, and audio-visual equipment, BYOD, and mobility.
