The Role

We are seeking an experienced early parenting specialist to join our multidisciplinary care team at the Early Parenting Centre (EPC). As a valued member, you will provide frontline care to families, assisting in the establishment and maintenance of healthy parent-child relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to parents in learning to care for their young children and themselves as parents
  • Establishing and maintaining effective supportive, safe, and welcoming learning environments for children and their parents
  • Planning, organizing, implementing, guiding, and evaluating play and age-appropriate learning experiences for young children, encouraging parents to participate

You will work closely with our Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Maternal and Child Health Nurses to deliver high-quality care to families. Your expertise and knowledge will be invaluable in supporting the health and wellbeing of mothers, fathers, parents, and carers, and the broader family impacts the child's health, wellbeing, and development.
