Lead a High-Performing Team in Planning and Building Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead our Planning and Building Compliance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and operational management to a dedicated team of Building & Planning Compliance Officers.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, customer-focused Building & Planning Compliance services to the community. You will provide guidance, assistance, and support to team members in carrying out their tasks, all within the scope of the relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of compliance officers to deliver high-quality services to the community.
  • Offer high-level strategic advice on planning and building compliance matters.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources to manage Council's programs efficiently.
  • Ensure the team works within documented service levels.
  • Support staff in their professional development and daily tasks.
