Alfred Health is a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne, Australia. As a private practitioner at headspace, you will have the opportunity to work with young people aged 12-25 who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
We are seeking an experienced Allied Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will provide counselling services to young people under a Mental Health Care Plan through Medicare-funded items as a private provider.
Our Access team will screen referrals, allocate clients to the appropriate private practitioner based on their clinical needs, and schedule appointments. As a condition of employment, appointees must be contracted private practitioners with Alfred Health operating from the headspace Centre.
About You- You will require relevant tertiary qualifications and registration (AHPRA or AASW)
- A current provider number for bulk-billing to Medicare is essential
- Indemnity insurance to the value of $10 million is required
- Full Covid-19 vaccinations and influenza vaccinations are necessary
- A current working rights visa is also required
- Satisfactory completion of a Police Check and Working with Children Check is mandatory
