About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Lean Capability and Transformation Centre of Excellence. This is a key leadership position and member of the Business and Service Transformation Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Business and Service Transformation to build and implement a Lean Centre of Excellence, including the development and roll-out of business transformation, operational excellence, and Lean practices.
  • Establish and roll out a Lean capability program across the organization, partnering with Group Learning and Development to continuously improve the continuous improvement capability and culture.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or streams to manage end-to-end transformation initiatives, from diagnostic to implementation, with the aim of improving customer and employee experience, growth, and efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach lean practitioners and continuous improvement professionals.
  • Develop and implement a Lean strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in leading large cross-functional process improvement, lean transformation, or operational excellence roles.
  • 5+ years' experience in building and rolling out lean capability, culture, and centre of excellence.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale lean transformation initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), design thinking, and customer-centered design or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of lean tools and techniques.
  • Experience in change management, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
