Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

This is a unique opportunity to take on the role of a Rehabilitation Consultant, working with Australian Defence Personnel who have experienced work incapacity due to injury or trauma.

As a key member of our rehabilitation service, you will be based in one location and work regular hours between 7:30am and 3:30pm. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with internal Rehabilitation Case Managers, Doctors, Allied Health professionals, and employers to influence and guide your clients to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete functional capacity evaluations to assess client capabilities
  • Conduct assessments including initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living to support short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans to achieve recovery at work
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant professional bodies
  • Experience in applying clinical reasoning and strategic thinking to support positive client outcomes
  • Clinical experience in the development of rehabilitation plans
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
