Job Description:

The role is to provide technical expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This involves working on various structures and components, providing direction and supervision as necessary, undertaking quality inspections, and completing assigned tasks according to training documentation.

Additionally, the incumbent will promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures. They will also liaise with design organizations and continuing airworthiness management organizations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures)
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
  • Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • C class driver's license
  • Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
