Admissions Manager Role Overview

This is a key leadership position within the Division of Student Administration and Academic Services, responsible for delivering excellent service to all applicants to the University.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting a large and diverse team with a great team culture, while also developing a professional network by working with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of staff to deliver excellent service to all applicants;
  • Developing and implementing effective processes and procedures to ensure seamless delivery of admissions services;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives;
  • Providing advice and guidance to staff on admissions-related matters.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (such as Business, Education or Social Sciences);
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an academic or administrative setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
