**About ANC**

ANC is a last mile delivery and direct to consumer (D2C) specialist, partnering with many large and emerging retail and e-commerce customers. Our ambition is to significantly disrupt the delivery environment to offer high value propositions to large retailers moving online and fast growing e-commerce customers.

In total, there are approximately 1,500 people working within the ANC business. We are privately owned, beginning over 100 years ago in 1921 as Fleet Flyers in Sydney.

**The Opportunity**:
ANC is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to encourage, inspire, and support our operations team to ensure their day-to-day success.

This pivotal role suits someone who loves to be hands on, working with our contractor drivers and working with multiple cross-functional teams to produce positive delivery experiences. ANC's operating mandate is to deliver the best possible outcome for clients and their customers by ensuring that every day is a successful day for our fleet of contracted drivers.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for engaging employees and drivers to deliver a standard of service that exceeds the expectations of ANC, our clients and customers.

**What we are looking for in an Operations Supervisor**:

- Effective communication skills with an ability to develop and build positive relationships.
- High level of initiative and commitment to achieve results.
- Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving ability with a solution focused approach.
- Experience in supervising an allocation/dispatch team within the transport industry.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, support and build a very good team environment, supervising staff and/or contractors.
- Experience and understanding of Transport Management Systems (FMS experience desirable)
- Familiarity with the State Road network and how it functions.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Actively manage the onboarding process and assessments to maximize contractor capability and engagement.
- Ensure contractors are fully trained to meet or exceed ANC client/customer delivery experience expectations through all available mediums e.g. face to face toolbox training, online safety alerts, classroom training, client specific training material.
- Implement the activities necessary to ensure the ANC vision and strategic plans are achieved.
- Ensure Health, Safety & Environment policies are adhered to at all times, promoting and committing to safety procedure.
