Resource Allocator

We are seeking an experienced Rostering Master to join our Workforce Planning Department as a Resource Allocator on a full-time basis.

This role involves managing the supply and demand of our workforce, ensuring that roster management aligns with national processes. Responsibilities include:

  • Administering staff/roster movements and allocating labour hire and overtime while adhering to business requirements.
  • Maintaining systems data integrity and providing input into creating rosters.
  • Serving as primary contact for staff queries related to published rosters.
  • Updating systems to reflect accurate staff allocation and shifts.
  • Covering absenteeism, uploading labour hire data, preparing day sheets for all areas of the business.
  • Providing regular feedback on allocation processes to highlight opportunities.
  • Maintaining knowledge of business requirements and applying them correctly.
  • Reporting on requirements for system and process improvements.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior workforce planning experience in a similar role with high volume.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in resource allocation.
  • Day-of-operations planning and live task allocation experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure effectively.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactivity, can-do attitude, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
