CareSouth is a community-services organisation based in regional locations across NSW, with a dynamic and bold vision to make a difference every day. Our purpose is to influence and support the safety, development, and empowerment of children, young people, adults, and communities. We offer services in early intervention, foster care, youth support, and NDIS services. With 30 years of experience serving the local community, we're looking for a collaborative leader who can think big-picture to help us enhance and expand our operations within existing and new communities to meet rising needs and growth in our services. As a Caseworker, you will be part of a team that works dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanency support, restoration, and adoption. Your day-to-day tasks may include visiting children, young people, and carers in their homes, working holistically with carers, families, and service providers to help children and young people reach their goals, and documenting children and young people's goals, journey, and milestones. To be successful in this role, you will need to be resilient, dedicated, and passionate about making a difference in a young person's life. You will also need to have a strong sense of humour and be willing to go the extra mile for the young people you support.
