Senior Financial Director

The Senior Financial Director will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of NRM South's financial operations. This senior management role will oversee the identification and implementation of growth pathways, operational business processes, and improvements. The candidate will contribute to strategy and direction setting, working closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include guiding the execution of financial management services, such as budget planning and payroll management, to ensure the organisation's financial health and operating efficiency.
As the Financial Operations Lead, you will work closely with the Finance Officer to facilitate the organisation's financial health and operating efficiency. This role will also involve mentoring and supporting the professional development of the Finance Officer, fostering a collaborative and effective finance team. The position requires a deep understanding of financial management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to strategy and direction setting.

NRM South is a not-for-profit organisation, with an office located in Hobart. We have a partnership delivery model, delivering projects on behalf of Australian and Tasmanian Governments, and through investment from our local, business and industry partners. We are responsible for identifying the region's priorities for natural resource management, working with the community to prepare a regional NRM strategy and facilitating its implementation.
