Job Title: Commercial Property Specialist
A unique opportunity exists for an accomplished Commercial Property Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse lease portfolio and providing expert advice on day-to-day lease administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and complete WIP and Debtors reports, including relevant commentary.
2. Review and approve lease obligation summaries and send them to the relevant parties.
3. Liaise directly with the Transaction Management team to ensure alignment of data for lease abstraction, amendments, correspondence, and exceptions.
4. Expenditure and Revenue rent roll review and variance reporting.
5. Review and prepare outgoings recharge sheets for existing expenditure portfolios, including sublease tenants.
6. Follow up revenue tenants for outstanding payments and approve workflow.
7. Review year-end reconciliation documentation and engage with the Auditor.
8. Interpret lease obligations for specific client requirements.
9. Ensure Landlord compliance with lease obligations and resolve lease disputes as required.
10. Maintain alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders.
11. Facilitate outcomes to support Green Lease compliance and initiatives.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years' experience in Property or Lease Management and commercial real estate.
2. Solid understanding of lease structures and financial interpretations.
3. Strong grasp of property databases and reporting systems.
4. Strong client engagement and outcome-driven mindset.
5. Exceptional attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Familiarity with AASB16 lease standards and financial reconciliations.
7. Proven ability to navigate and interpret lease documentation with precision and professionalism.
