Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Contract Coordinator. You will be responsible for managing commercial and contract matters on allocated subcontracts, ensuring Operating Standards are adhered to.

You will support internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts, partner with management to review project budget, and effectively administer all subcontracts to optimize earnings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Tendering and Subcontract Formation: Support internal stakeholders in tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts.
  2. Project Budget Review: Partner with management to review project budget and ensure adequate allocation to subcontracts.
  3. Subcontract Administration: Effectively administer all subcontracts to optimize earnings.
  4. Claims and Variations: Assist with preparation of claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts.
  5. Claim Resolution: Assist with the management and resolution of all claims with subcontractors/suppliers.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management, or economics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated experience as a contracts administrator or commercial/contracts advisor on building projects.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a desire to drive outcomes.
